In this video, Kim shows us around one of CoralTree’s orchards that is growing a heritage variety of apple called Monty’s Surprise. It’s in full flower and being pollinated by hard working bees. Research conducted in New Zealand and abroad is now showing this particular type of apple to have huge health benefits “as a preventative measure to reduce the incidence of disease in the human body.”

Kim also explains how he is introducing diversity into the orchard, not only through the unique variety of apples they are growing, but also by using animals (in this case ducks) as a natural form of insect control.
